Does it matter?
As long as I go right?
It does matter.
Why you do anything always matters.
For example, the kiss when Judas betrayed Jesus in Matthew 26:49 mattered.
It was a gesture of what would normally express love or affection, used with the wrong motive in mind.
Why you do something matters.
Why do you go to Church?
Is it to check your to-do list for the week?
Do you assume it is what makes you a Christian?
Is it for your spouse?
Do you serve on a team and have to be there?
Or do you come to church to be with the saints and express your love to God with them?
Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially not that the of His return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:25
But going to church does not save you.
The only thing that saves you is putting your faith in the finished work of the cross, repenting, and following Jesus wholeheartedly.
Let us never forget when we come into HIS house, that we are there for HIM, and HIM alone.
