This world is becoming more progressively vocal about being anti-God, and specifically anti-Christ.
I would be remiss to say I have not tried to be silent before.
I worked in a job that in many ways felt it sucked the life out of me, and anything good I attempted to do was relegated into being an evildoer.
I decided to be silent - to do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.
Well, they still didn't like me. It was like they could smell my love for Christ without a word, and I quickly reverted to my vocalized state.
I remember my colleague laughing at me for how I stood quietly.
I scratched my head at that one: how is it my mere existence caused such disdain from the people around me?
A servant is not greater than His master. If they hate Him, they will hate us. John 15:20
Is it worth the fight?
Absolutely. God is worth every tear, discomfort, hurt, pain, and sorrow.
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conscience in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
1 Peter 3:13-17
